About Decerno

Decerno offers a unique service in quality installations, but most importantly pre-installation, a full advisory to our commercial and domestic customers. The design and choice of products are extremely important to ensure that a cost effective solution is provided in order to maximise your energy production over a minimum 25-year period.

We do not have a sales team but individuals that are professionals in the industry so our advice is pragmatic and relevant i.e. not derived from brochures/sales conferences. We do not have a culture of ‘closing a sale’ but leaving a legacy with the customer where they have all the ingredients to make their own decision in an informed and unpressured environment.

To ensure a maximum return on your investment, we at Decerno draw upon our experience within the industry to provide a solution that is right for you and your property. Solar panels are large durable items that are affixed to existing struts within your roof, with our extensive experience and skilled trades persons, we ensure that your panels are safely and securely fitted to ensure minimal disruption to your property.

We pride ourselves in our experience… we are not just ‘solar installers’. We have a progressive attitude and research and attend industry conferences. This is a new and developing industry.

A key part of this project is your return on investment, the process of applying for your ‘Feed in Tarff’ encompasses a considerable amount of paperwork and form filling. We have extensive experience within this area and complete this process for you, ensuring all of the necessary paperwork is completed, along with all of the compliance associated with the government regulations.

It is interesting to note that there are a significant amount of installations that are in service but that have not had the OFGEM approval due to incorrect, or late paperwork. We are commitment to submitting this on your behalf (subject to you providing applicable information and signing the necessary papers) immediately post commissioning.

We at Decerno are committed to safety and quality and are recognised, and accredited, by NAPIT, MCS, and Real Assurance.

There are many installation options available to you, with each system providing a different monetary return. We recognise that this may all be new to you and that you may need some additional support with your decision-making process. To help you understand how your solar panels will work for you, we have an easy to follow matrix of advice that we can talk you through, providing you with an overview of your return and economic benefit.

Should you enter into a contract with us we undertake to keep you fully informed of the installation process. We agree the time table and stick to the timetable. Should there be any reason to deviate from this we will enter into prospective dialogue with you.

Whilst there is a selection of different options available to you, the overall system comprises of some generic components that are fitted into, and onto, your property. Within a standard domestic system you will find:

A selection 2-4kWp PV panel systems (averaging 10-20 panels, each panel measuring 1.7metres x 0.9 metres).

An inverter, this is fitted inside of your property, usually within the loft space, and is used to convert direct current (DC) to Alternating current (AC), which can be used within the home.

Finally we will fit a generation meter and isolation switch to your existing fuse box.

Commercial Systems

When dealing with a commercial system there are some fundamental differences in the size, power and planning application surrounding the installation. The project scale and paperwork require additional management and planning and Decerno is able to provide a dedicated Project Manager with G59 capability.
